My aim is to help you to stay at home for as long as possible by recommending home modifications and equipment, so that you can keep doing everything you want to do and need to do. I’ve been recommending rails, ramps, steps and lots of equipment like electric lift recliner chairs, mobility scooters, walking frames, personal alarms and self-tipping kettles since 2019. I'm happy to travel and will service areas such as Kaniva, Nhill, Goroke, Natimuk, Edenhope, Harrow, Murtoa, Rupanyup and everywhere in-between.
Currently, I am only providing services to people with Home Care Packages in the Wimmera.
If you live outside of the Wimmera, or are privately-funded, I will consider providing OT services to you, although this will be on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
I do not provide NDIS OT Services.
Occupational Therapy Assessments are a holistic assessment of your everyday life. From the assessment, the OT will make recommendations so you can keep doing the things you want and need to do throughout your day.
Mobility Scooter (Gopher) Assessments are needed to ensure your safety and the safety of others in the community. With so many different types of scooters available, these assessments can also help you choose the right one for you. Wheelchair assessments are also available.
Home Assessments involve assessing your home environment and providing strategies to ensure your ongoing safety and independence. Strategies include home modifications, equipment, and/or changing the way you do something in order to make your life easier.
I’m Ashleigh, but most people call me Ash.
I live on a farm with my husband and 3 sons. In my spare time, I love cooking, gardening, tending to my chickens and ducks, and doing a bit of yoga to keep healthy.
I became an Occupational Therapist (OT) in 2019 after completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Occupational Therapy Practice.
I decided to start Ash Occupational Therapy so that I could help more people in my region access occupational therapy services when they need it most. I strongly believe rural people deserve timely access to high quality allied health services.
